What made you start the birth control pill? - endometriosis and the pill

I started the pill when I was 17 years (I'm 23 now) because I endometriosis. The pill can EASR pain and shorten my periods and regulates me. Before taking the pill would be bed mounted pain in 5 days my period. Now my period is 2-3 days and can get up lol
