Rusty is in the right direction, you need a fat!, No - for lubrication, but upon entering the PIN to prevent the crank!

I use an anti-stick called "Copa-Slip" and a little about his son before the meeting. (before anyone says - I drink, slip OTT is used and for high temperature applications, but I understand the work !!!!).

Hope this helps.

Do not use butter. Go to store motor vehicle parts and apply a little grease in the bearings. Apply generously to the Son, install the pedals, wiping out more. If you really want to make it pretty, you buy some anti-building copper bold. It is more expensive and can be used for orientation, but stick the best things about the maintenance of fasteners.

As noted before me, fat. All the fat effect in the auto parts store - here I remove a flag, Valvoline. It comes in a 6-ounce TUB.

Anti-seize compounds are readily available in the United States has never invoked-Seize. It comes in a bottle with an applicator brush.

The grease is cheaper, and you can then use a general-purpose grease for a bit oily on the bike.

Rusty's fine with me. Almost all the fat will do. I use what they have medium or heavy, I am fat around. For decades now, and never a problem.

try to find a lubricant with Teflon. These lubricants are designed to hold spray if it sticks.

Then simply remove the pedals again in the same way the old one.

It is necessary to use a type of fat:
no butter, oil-based is best.

If you are fat no vaseline.

Pedal to the suspension of his fingers (no key) with the hole in the crank and pedal pedal facing the rear. When the pedal is usually thread can use the wrench to tighten.

Be careful and put the pedal marked R on the right side (side dishes cranks) and L on the left side. It is easy, the threads in the cranks are aluminum CUZ THAT ruin (it can complete with a butter knife and almost effortlessly! Stripes) How to use a key to the pedals and bars are well inserted in the perfection.

Good luck

The best Grease "I found Bike Parts is Phil Woods hub / bearing grease. It is) in a tube of green light (like toothpaste and is pretty cheap. Lubricates well and not before, so you can remove the trader at a later date with minimal effort.
